The State Mufti Department held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony and breaking of fast. It was held at Pehin Khatib Abdullah Mosque, Kampung Kulapis, 5th March late afternoon.

Leading the delegation was Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain @ Maidin, Deputy State Mufti. The event began with the presentation of wakaf or endowment in the form of mosque's use. It was also filled with a tazkirah or talk.
